Deuces Wild Strategy
Basic Deuces Wild is the foundational version of Deuces Wild: all four 2s are wild, acting as any card needed to complete the best possible hand, making it a fundamentally different game from fixed-rank poker like Jacks or Better and one of the most difficult to play correctly due to the complexity wild cards introduce. Hands need three-of-a-kind or better to pay anything at all — there's no pair-level payout the way Jacks or Better has one. Within the family, the Wild Royal Flush, Five of a Kind, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, and Flush payouts can all vary between paytables — more moving parts than any non-wild family; RTP across the nine published Deuces Wild paytables spans from 94.8% to 100.8%.
